Mohsen Ahmadi is a Machine Learning and Computer Vision Researcher in the Department of Electrical and Computer Science at Florida Atlantic University. He earned his MS degree in Industrial Engineering from Urmia University of Technology and a BS in Computer Science from Damghan University in Iran. He graduated as the top-ranked master’s student from UUT. His research involved collaborations on several papers related to machine learning. Throughout his academic journey, he has made significant contributions to the field, authoring 40 research papers, contributing to over 600 peer-reviewed publications, and accumulating 1,900 citations. He has been actively involved in image processing and optimization, particularly in Machine Learning with the application of Evolutionary algorithms. He also published a paper on Healthcare Analytics in the Nature Journal, focusing on AI and mathematical programming. He not only advanced past the Top 2% of scientists in 2022 to reach the Top 1% in 2023 but was also ranked among the top 1000 Artificial intelligence and environmental scientists out of roughly 200,000 scientists. He also is one of the top 1% of best reviewers in Computer Science and Cross-Field on the Web of Science. Also, in 2022, he received the Best Researcher award at the 13th International Advanced Computing Conference (IACC, IEEE). His extensive research portfolio covers diverse areas such as video and image processing, optimization, and machine learning, with a specific focus on computer vision applications. Central to his research interests is the nexus between artificial intelligence and healthcare.
